Lithuanian Sea Museum invites to the free crafts weekends
Till the beginning of September every visitor is kindly invited to the free crafts training, that will take place in ethnographical fisherman homestead, where the crafts weekends are going to be organized under the name of Lithuanian saw „Močia mezga tinklelius, aš vilioju bernelius…“. Here everyone will have the opportunity to explore how the nets and fishing baskets are knitted, how to make the weathercocks. There will be a chance to learn fishing crafts, so one could make his or her own souvenir. During the months of July and August the guests will be invited to weave the linen, tassels, knit the wristlets, dip the candles, weave the straws, create and paint the weathercocks as well as perform the woodworks, tease the wool and make decorations of it.
