Environment Development Association of Lithuania was established in the year 2009. Currently it invites both the legal and private persons concerned about the common goal – environmental protection. We believe, that even the most comprehensive and modern solutions might be implemented without making any damage and harm to the nature in this way supporting the development of harmonious environment.
“FOR THE GREEN FUTURE” – this is our slogan. It is simple, still it accurately reveals the way of actions being taken.
We were founded on purpose:
- To establish a functional connection between the nature and citizens based on environmental issues;
- To develop a regular environmental development policy;
- To ensure the financing possibilities concerning the projects of environmental development.
In order to implement the before mentioned purposes we have to perform the following activities:
- To organize the seminars for the employers, governments and for the private persons;
- To ensure support of EU’s funding or other types of financial instruments in order to develop the environmental friendly technologies;
- To encourage the companies, as they could provide their clients with eco-friendly solutions without additional service costs.
At the moment we are looking forward to communicating and establishing the partnerships with other companies or organizations having common ambitions towards the environment protection. We are planning to execute the missions and develop the projects both inside and outside Lithuania. We will focus on environment protection and ecology policies with a purpose to ensure safe and friendly environment. We will encourage the local enterprises to perceive the importance of development of environmental friendly activities, so they could follow the EU principles and receive the required financial support in order to implement the eco-friendly practice.
